Her - We met while attending UTA through mutual friends. After teaming up for an organization program we realized that we worked well together and became friends. A few months later, Jeremy had fallen madly in love. I did too. Him - We met on twitter (maniacal laugh)! Then we met on SnapChat. Then, I would have to bring her money behind a bulletproof glass once per semester (hehehe). Then, she became a knight at the purple sister round-table. Next, we happened to have an African American studies class together (she was never there)! Finally, we connected at a group outing with friends over the summer in 2016. Lastly, we worked together as program chairs from our brother/sister organizations. I fell in love. THE PROPOSAL... Jeremy focused on surprising Kyara which is hard to do because she’s nosy and she professionally plans high-end events for a living. They spent the day doing the things they love. Shopping, shopping, more shopping, dinner at The Cheesecake Factory, dessert at Cold Stone, and seeing family. Little did she know the most important factor to the plan was going with the flow. Ultimately, he successfully surprised her and she said yes! They celebrated that night with their closest family and friends with cake and a champagne toast!
