"I found the one my heart loves."

One day we were both going to a graduation ceremony with my cousins in Brenham, TX. My cousin and her now-husband had just gotten a new apartment so I went to go see it and decided to go to graduation with all of them. They told me their friend Antonio was coming along and would be riding with all of us as well. I walked into their new apartment expecting not to like their guy friend lol, but to my surprise, I was totally smitten with him the instant I met him. The feeling was mutually and as he tells it "he knew I liked him because I was being mean to him" lol I still don't think I was mean! All in all, we've been crazy about one another since the first day we met!

I woke up Saturday morning around 6:00 a.m. to Antonio saying he was going to the gym and he would be back soon. Around 30 minutes after he left he texted me and told me to go outside and look under the mat for my first clue! I did and it instructed me to get dress and my driver would be waiting for me to take me to the nail shop which is where my second clue was left with my nail lady, Nancy. The next clues led me to our favorite places or to the places we made our best/first memories. The clues took me all around Houston, but the last clues took me to Brenham, the place we first met. The last clue brought me to my cousin's old apartment (the first place we laid eyes on each other) and there were rose petals on the steps I walked up with Antonio waiting for me at the top and the song 'Best Part' playing in the background. While in front of the door to the place we first met he asked me "how much I loved him on a scale 1-10" lol he was so nervous, it was adorable! He then got on one knee and asked me to be his wife and I said YESSSSS! It was beautiful, creative, and everything I could have imagined and now we're so close to saying "I Do!" We are so excited for you all to be apart of our journey and we feel so blessed that God brought us together!
