What is the wedding day dress code?

Answer

Garden party formal— Elegant but relaxed, perfect for an outdoor celebration surrounded by nature. We invite guests to wear light, airy fabrics and soft, seasonal colors and fun patterns. For ladies, ankle to floor-length dresses are encouraged. Please refrain from wearing black or white. For the gentlemen, suits or dress slacks with a blazer are appropriate. Ties are optional. Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have limited space, so only guests specifically listed on your invitation are invited to attend. Reach out to Kya & Trevor for questions.

What food will be served?

Answer

After the ceremony, enjoy light refreshments and passed appetizers, followed by a buffet-style dinner with plenty of options for everyone. Save room for dessert—we’ll have a sweet spread of treats and candies! If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you fill out your RSVP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Sometimes the GPS tries to take you to the top of the mountain so just make sure to be on the lookout for the Laurel Falls sign on the left side of the road that leads to the driveway you'll enter. It is approximately 1/2 mile up Flat Top Mountain Road on the left side- if you pass the waterfall, you went too far. Parking for wedding guests is a gravel parking lot on the right side of Flat Top Mountain Road. The entrance to the gravel parking lot is just after passing the Laurel Falls entrance sign. A parking attendant will be there to help direct you.

Where is the closest airport?

Answer

The closest airport is Asheville, which will be about a 25 minute drive from the wedding venue. This is a smaller airport, but you can also fly into Greenville (~1.5 hour drive) or Charlotte (~2.5 hour drive) if interested in renting a car. There will be plenty of parking available at the venue.

Is there Uber or Lyft in the area?

Answer

Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are available during the day no problem, but may be limited at night. Don’t worry— we will provide transportation guidance for guests to get back to their accommodations. More details will be shared closer to the big day!
