Sometimes, the best love stories start with a little resistance. We first met in college, thanks to a matchmaking attempt by our roommates who were convinced we’d be perfect for each other. At first, one of us wasn’t so sure (we won’t name names...), and it took a little time—and maybe a little stubbornness—before we were both ready to see what could be. Everything changed with one simple invite: a double date at Topgolf. It felt casual, low-pressure, and honestly, we thought, Why not? Neither of us expected much, but that night turned out to be the beginning of something really special. There was an instant connection—laughter came easy, and it felt like we’d known each other forever. Not long after, we had our second date... which also included meeting the parents. (Yep—already!) But instead of being intimidating, it just felt right. Everyone was welcoming, and the ease between us only grew. Looking back, it’s wild to think how close we came to missing out on this. But thankfully, a little persistence and a well-timed game of Topgolf brought us together—and we’ve been writing our story ever since. We’re so excited to start this next chapter as husband and wife, and even more grateful to celebrate it with all of you. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.
