The Best Is Yet To Come..

It was the beginning of September 2014 when we met one another. I (Anthony) was walking from class to the bookstore at Gaston College and stopped one of my friends from High School to ask him where it was. Kya was just getting out of class also and seen us talking and spoke to us and said “awww it’s a family reunion” (even though I never talked to her lol). I remember she was wearing a pair of red pants and a white shirt and as she was walking up the hill, all I could think was “dang she look good!!!!!” During that semester, we ended up taking the same class but during different periods so we decided to study together. Around November, we noticed that we both always wanted to be around one another because it was nothing but laughter and smiles when we spent time together. I told myself that I would only be friends with her and nothing more but as I continued to pray every night, I noticed that I prayed more for her being successful then I did myself because she was the only person I thought about. So on Dec 25,2014 I asked her to the movies (which I already knew she was going to say yes because she always wanted to spend time with me lol ) and that’s when I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes. After she told me she would be my girlfriend, I remember a feeling of relief that came over me. 4 years later, I asked her to be my fiancé and till this day, I still get the same feeling that I did when I first met her.
