Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Andrea Acker and Kyle Ma
Meet our family and friends that are walking down the aisle with us!

Kushol Hasnat

Maid of Honor

Kushol and I met in pharmacy school at the University at Buffalo. She lives and works as a pharmacist in the Buffalo area, along with her husband- to- be...who just so happens to be this guy --------------------> Kushol and I grew even closer when school ended and her friendship, love and support have meant the world to me. Kushol and Aleem will also be getting married in 2019-it is a big year for the 2 couples! The four of us love spending time together traveling, eating....and well...more eating!

Aleem Merani

Best Man

I met Aleem in pharmacy school at UB. From day 1, we did nearly everything together like pledging Kappa Psi or running for class office and eventually becoming Class President+VP. We first grew closer together when he would crash at my apartment after cram sessions for exams so he wouldn’t have to deal with crossing the border. We’ve become a Phar-mily ever since and he remains a cornerstone to my relationship with Andrea.

Audrey Lambert

Matron of Honor

Audrey and I met our first year of college as undergrads at the University at Buffalo. She asked me (out of 450 people) if she was in the right biology class--and the rest is history! We both went on to pharmacy school where we pledged Kappa Psi together. Audrey was the 1st person to point out the groom's good looks to me :). I had the honor of being one of Audrey's bridesmaids when she married her husband Drew in 2012. Even though they now live in Maine, Audrey will always be one of my closest and dearest friends.

Alex Ng

Groomsman

I met Alex at Emerson elementary school 25+ years ago. We were like brothers who literally grew up together .... just under separate roofs. It's difficult enough to survive your teenage years in America, but imagine adding to that equation the fact we were both nerdy 1st generation immigrants. There is no better example of this than when we both had the "honor" of playing the trombone together in Jr High. No matter the time or the distance apart, we've always been there for each other.

Alexandra Duggan

Bridesmaid

Alex and I met in pharmacy school when she decided to pledge Kappa Psi. We clicked pretty quickly, but bonded even more over finding love at the exact same time :). She started dating her (now) husband Bob within days of Kyle and I deciding to trade our friendship in for romance. Alex, Bob and their daughter Morgan live in Buffalo, NY where Alex was born and raised. Alex is one of my most loyal and supportive friends who I can always count on.

Dan Nguyen

Groomsman

I met Dan at UC San Diego when we pledged together for Psi Chi Omega. Unbreakable bonds are often built upon shared trials and tribulations....so let's just simply say that Dan and I have been through some battles in our youth. It is interesting how small the world can be and how roads can cross years apart. We both took very different paths but both ended up as pharmacists. Dan is not just my "frat-bro" twice over, he is my "life-bro." - MBK

Cara Acker

Bridesmaid

Cara and I officially became sisters in 2014 when she married my brother Jason. I was honored to stand up in their wedding as the maid of honor. They have a beautiful daughter named Kelsey who happens to have been born on June 8th...that date sound familiar? The family of 3 live in Rochester New York. Nothing beats a loving and supportive family and Cara has shown nothing less since becoming part of the Acker clan.

Mike Wang

Groomsman

I met Mike when my sister brought home for the first time ever, a boy to meet my parents. That just happens to be the only time ever as they have been together ever since. Mike and I got along very quickly as we shared the same passions for Star Trek, computer games and basketball. Some of my fondest childhood memories were when Mike and my sister took me and my younger brother Garvey on their dates/day trips to places like San Diego or Universal Studios Hollywood. I could never thank them enough for everything they have done and continue to do for me.
