Best Western Inn & Suites Rutland-Killington

For your convenience, we’ve reserved a secondary hotel block at the Best Western located nearby. A shuttle will be provided to and from the wedding reception to make transportation easy and stress-free. Please note that guests not staying at Mountain Top Resort will not have access to certain on-site amenities and activities exclusive to resort guests. We encourage everyone to plan accordingly.

Travel Overview

For guests flying in, the closest airport is Rutland Southern Vermont Regional Airport (RUT), located about 35 minutes from Mountain Top Resort. There are direct flights from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Rutland (RUT) which are often more affordable than flying into Rutland from other states. Please note that these flights are operated by Cape Air and must be booked separately from your main flight to Boston. When searching, look for flights from BOS → RUT to complete your itinerary. Other nearby airport options include: • Burlington International Airport (BTV) – approximately 1.5 hours from the resort • Albany International Airport (ALB) – about 2.5 hours away • Hartford Bradley International Airport (BDL) – about 3 hours away • Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) – about 3.5 hours away (if driving instead of flying to Rutland) If you’re traveling from Burlington, the Amtrak Ethan Allen Express offers a scenic and comfortable train ride from Burlington to Rutland, a great alternative for those who prefer not to drive. Rental cars are available at all airports including Rutland and are the easiest way to reach the resort and explore the area. Please note that ride-share and taxi services are limited once outside major cities, so we recommend arranging transportation in advance. The drive to Mountain Top Resort is especially scenic—enjoy the rolling hills, forests, and charming Vermont views as you make your way to the celebration!
