What will the weather be like this time of year?

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire. Women: This means putting on that silky pantsuit, your midi satin dress, a fitted jumpsuit, or another option that is polished, without looking like you’re heading to the Met Ball. Men: Men get to hang up the tux for this one, yet still need to put thought into their appearance. For example, a dark suit with a dress shirt and shoes is appropriate – extra points for a tie.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you and host you for dinner. Unfortunately, we have chosen a cash bar, so please bring cash or a credit card to enjoy bar service.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

We do not have a theme, but feel free to wear the following colors: navy blue, gold, or yellow :)

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #GettingTheJohnson #YouHadMeAtJohnson #JohnsonGang so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
