How We Met ❤️ Sometimes God writes the most beautiful stories when we least expect them. When I met Augustine, I was in a season of uncertainty. I had recently graduated and was trying to find my footing in the United States. I didn’t have a job yet, and honestly, I was at one of the lowest points in my life, praying and trusting God to guide my next steps. A close friend of mine, who is also a pastor, checked in on me one day and casually asked if I was seeing anyone. My answer was simple: “No, and I’m not interested in dating right now.” At that point, finding a relationship was the last thing on my mind. About a month later, he called and told me that he had shared my number with someone through his wife. I didn’t know his wife personally, but I trusted them both, so I agreed. Another month passed before Augustine finally reached out. What started as a simple text message grew into a friendship. The communication wasn’t always perfect or consistent in the beginning, but through many prayers, faith, patience, and even seasons of fasting, God continued to guide our journey. One conversation became many. Friendship grew into love. And before we knew it, we had built something beautiful together. Today, as we celebrate our love story, we are grateful for God’s timing and faithfulness. Looking back, we can clearly see that what felt like an ordinary introduction was actually the beginning of a life-changing blessing. One year later, here we are best friends, partners, and excited to spend the rest of our lives together. “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 ❤️✨
