The love started from friendship and blossomed to so much more, a life together that is full of love, laughter, happiness, and passion. We were best friends, inseparable, spent almost everyday together, laughing, listening to music and talking. Courtney realized the feelings were stronger than she thought after months of denying those feelings to surface because of fear of ruining a friendship so strong, she knew he was the one and planned to make things official on September 8th, 2018 by asking Cody to be her boyfriend (not very romance movie of us, very non traditional) but she didn’t care, Cody had already asked Courtney to be his girlfriend and she had denied his love as well as her own love and happiness for 6 months, but she was glad she finally let herself really fall for the man of her dreams!

Cody had planned a date night that took a twist, they set out to go to AJs in Glenwood, MN and have dinner, Cody said it was to discuss some news about his job but Courtney’s gut had told her otherwise. She knew something was up when Cody had bought himself a new outfit and told Courtney to wear something nice. They got ready and headed out to Glenwood where they enjoyed a nice dinner and good conversation, (just a little over dressed for a bar and grill), Cody had told Courtney the news about work and they headed out of town when Cody decided to pull into the Glenwood Look-Out and brought her down to the lower level. He took some pictures with her and she turned to look at the view and when she turned back, Cody was on one knee asking to spend the rest of their lives together. Little did Courtney know, Cody had thought of everything, and had her cousin hiding in the woods capturing the moments of Courtney saying “YES!” There was many tears and lots of smiles!
