Hunter and Grace have known of each other for quite some time through mutual friends and their parents. It wasn't until Christmas break of 2022 that the two decided to get together for the first time. They both felt a very strong connection early on in their relationship. When January rolled around, Hunter had to go back to school in Mississippi while Grace stayed in Owensboro. They did long distance until Hunter graduated and came home in May. Hunter and Grace couldn't be kept apart and made several trips to visit one another during the long distance. They made sure to keep in touch through FaceTime calls every night before they went to bed. Though long distance relationships are never easy, this season grew a very strong bond between the two. One month after returning home, Hunter proposed to Grace while on vacation with the Millay family in Breckenridge Colorado...and the rest is history!
