Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Oceanside, CA as it's walkable, right on the water and filled with fun bars, restaurants and museums. Please see our Travel and Lodging page for more details on hotels. There are VRBO and Airbnb rentals in the area if that fits your group best, but if so, we suggest catching the shuttle at Mission Pacific Hotel so you don't have to find your own way to the ceremony and reception.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Shuttles will be available at Mission Pacific Hotel at 3pm to transport guests to and from the Ceremony and Reception at Monserate Winery. Parking and Uber are available at Monserate Winery, but we highly recommend utilizing the provided shuttles to ensure you don't run into any issues as the venue is about a 35-minute drive from Oceanside.

Will any of the events be held outdoors?

Answer

We are taking advantage of the sunny San Diego weather and hosting the ceremony, cocktail hour and part of the reception outdoors. September is a beautiful time of year but will be warm until the sun goes down. Umbrellas and indoor spaces will be available for guests to keep cool.

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair.
