Is there a dress code?

Answer

This will be a low-key affair and outdoors. There is no formal dress code...casual, outdoors and it may be warm - so full suits/tuxedos definitely not required! :) The ceremony & reception will be held in a beautiful forested picnic area under Giant Sequoias. The ground is dirt with roots/rocks and a little bit of uneven terrain. We don't recommend high heels or shoes where you'll have trouble walking on the forested ground. Wear what you would like, we want you to be comfortable!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes - Big Trees State Park will have an entrance fee of $10 per vehicle. There is a parking lot at the park directly adjacent to the Sentinel Tree picnic area we have reserved for the wedding, but you can park in any of the lots in the park. Uber and Lyft are not an easy option in the Arnold area, so we recommend carpooling.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids (we really do!) but we are trying to keep our wedding a small affair and would also like for you to enjoy the day and have a drink with us so we are keeping our guest list to ages 21 and up :) However, there is no hard rule and we are flexible and happy to discuss if you need to bring your kids so please reach out if needed!
