The couple met their first night on campus at Cedarville University! Cedarville makes orientation groups aka sting groups in which starts the story. They quickly found similarities in their love of sports and in their sense of humor. It turns out that they had lots of mutual friends and seemed to have similar schedules, allowing them to each lunch together nearly everyday freshman year. The rest quickly gets blurred of where friendships turns in flirting and flirting turns into the BEST relationship ever. Needless to say, they are very thankful for sting groups!

The week Jill was least expecting it, the week Jill's parents had kept secret for 3 months, the week Jill's sister flew round trip from Ohio to New York in less than 24 hours, the week Ficker's got to drive 12 hours to hide in a bush and the week the Gould's got a new girl in the family. Kurtis set up a whole ordeal, the Gould family vacation at Lake Edward would soon turn into a very crowded cabin with the Patricks and Ficker's making a very exciting visit. Kurtis and Jill went out to dinner in Saratoga Springs, while the heist began back at the cabin. As the couple left Saratoga Springs, it began to rain and Jill made a half-kidding statement that she wanted to dance in the rain. It just so happens that it would make for a cute picture as Kurtis spun Jill and then got down on one knee. The rest of the evening was blinded by love and the sparkle of Jill's GORGEOUS ring! Kurtis did a fantastic job of keeping the secret and keeping up with Jill's sass.

Short Term: The couple will be honeymooning in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic at a gorgeous resort right on the beach! Long Term: Kurtis will be pursuing a residency in Athletic Training at Ohio University and a Masters degree through Otterbein University. Jill will graduate with her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2025. The couple has a house in Cedarville and cannot wait to start doing life full-time with one another.
