Forever yours

We met in the spring of 2017 playing intramural softball while attending college at UWRF. Although our softball team wasn’t that great, our friendship sure was. We became instant friends, hanging out mostly as a large friend group. That slowly transitioned to us spending time together almost daily. Whether that was grabbing food from the University Center on campus, walking to class, catching a movie, or even just shopping (yes back then Grace could convince Kurt shopping wasn’t a waste of time). We both could feel there was something more between us. In March of 2020, we turned our friendship into a relationship when we officially started dating. Since it was during Covid and many restaurants were closed our first date was to Culver’s. We have gone to some better restaurants since then, don’t worry. We eventually moved down to Kurt’s hometown in northern Illinois where we currently reside. Fast forward a few years we’ve added a dog, a couple cats, and a herd of goats. Finally in September of 2024, we got engaged. It was the most ‘us’ engagement anyone could think of. Oktoberfest, beer, food, and sweet words. What could be better. Well it did get better, when the official ring came. It was designed and made from Grace’s mother’s beautiful ring, which was a surprise gift on Christmas Eve. We are so excited to start the next phase of our lives together and can’t wait to celebrate with you in October!
