FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We aren't too fancy, but we want to see you dressed up! Here's what we're looking for: Gals: bright, summery dresses/jumpsuits of any length are welcomed! Guys: button-ups/polos and khakis or dress slacks; suits and ties are totally optional! Just no jeans and of course, no white dresses. Have fun with it!

Question

What are your colors?

Answer

Bridesmaids will be wearing light pink dresses, and groomsmen will be wearing tan suits. Feel free to match the bridal party!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Our venue only allows a certain amount of people - we ask that you only come with those listed on the invitation to avoid any hiccups!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love you and your kiddos, we just cannot accommodate for everyone. If your kids are not listed on the invitation, please respect that we cannot have them there. Know that it is not personal, and use this as a night out!

Question

Is it an indoor or outdoor wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outside next to the lake (grass terrain), and our reception will be indoors in the banquet hall.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

In the event of more than just a few sprinkles, we will hold the ceremony under the covered porch or in the reception hall itself. If rain is forecasted, it would be a good idea to bring an umbrella or ponchos.

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking everyone to silence their cellphones and "unplug" for our ceremony! There will be designated people taking plenty of photos and videos so you can be in the moment with us. Once the ceremony is over, you are welcome to take any photos you wish.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be Family Style: If there are dietary restrictions or kids listed on your invite who need a kid's meal, please let us know with your RSVP.

Question

Will the dogs be there?

Answer

Our little friends will be meeting us for photos prior to the ceremony. If they behave, they will be present for the "I Dos". If not, they will be safe and sound at the Kurth family cabin!
