Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held on June 24, 2022 at Great Neck Country Club in Waterford, CT. This will be a military wedding so if you are active or retired military please be in service dress blues. We are so excited to celebrate with you! See you in CT!

Our story of how we met is all based on fate and chance! Kurt was supposed to be stationed on a submarine in Norflok, VA but insisted he didn't want to live in VA. So he was stationed in Groton, CT! I was supposed to go into the Peace Corps and leave for Kenya, August 2020, but due to covid my mission was canceled so I moved to CT. I went with a friend to a football party and a girl there suggested I should download the dating app, Hinge, I was hesitant. But the next day Kurt and I began talking. 6 days later on Saturday, September 26, 2020 we went on our first date that ended up being an 8 hour date! A month later we found out the girl from the football party, Abby, her boyfriend went to college with Kurt!

Kurt proposed on September 26, 2021, our one year anniversary! He planned the whole thing in 5 days with the help of his family! We went hiking at Bluff Point and at the end, there was a picnic set up and his family was hiding behind the trees! He dropped down to one knee and asked me to be his forever! We then had a lovely brunch with his family and our friends!

Kurt and I got married on October 22, 2021! We had a small ceremony with our parents present at Bluff Point where Kurt proposed! We are beyond excited for our big wedding in June with all of our family and friends!
