We're getting married!

At six years old I met Michelle climbing the tree outside the Kingdom Hall in Addison. I barely remember playing together as children but this did not last long. Both of our families moved to separate congregations. Fast forward ten years, we reunited as teenagers in Bentley congregation and easily became best friends.

It was on Friday, March 19 at North Avenue Beach. There was a long wait before dinner so they all thought walking the boardwalk would be a nice way to kill time. Reaching the end of the boardwalk, I turned around to look at the Chicago skyline. Suddenly, loved ones I hadn't seen in months were all lined up and handed me a single rose each. Tears running down my face, I reached the end of the line to see Kurt. Feeling overjoyed, he asked me, "Will you marry me?".

We would love to have each and every one of you to join us personally for our special day. However, with the current state of the world, we want to abide by state guidelines. Our wedding ceremony talk will be streamed online so that loved ones near or far can still be part of this day.
