When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP instructions will be listed on your invitation when those go out in the mail! Keep an eye out early Summer 2023.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please give yourself enough time to be seated and ready for a 4:30 start time! We recommend between 4:00-4:15.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Ladies- Wear short or long dresses, or dressy jumpsuits. Gentlemen- Wear a jacket and slacks or a suit.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your Plus One should be listed on your invitation next summer. If there is not one listed and you would like to bring a date, please reach out to us!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Because of venue restrictions, we have only included a few children of our family and bridal party in our day. If your children are not listed on your invitation, we hope you still join us and make our wedding a wonderful date night! Please reach out if you need assistance with childcare, as we have connections for local babysitters!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Our wedding is located in the Oceanfront Marriott in Virginia Beach, and is right next door to the Cavalier and the new Embassy Suites! We have blocks at these three hotels, as well as the Courtyard Marriott a few blocks down the road. If you and your family would like some more space, Virginia Beach has lots of AirBnB options. Should you need additional options for accommodations, please reach out.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Our dinner will be served station style, and if you need more details or have any special requests before the wedding, please reach out.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking within the Marriott parking garage.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, as our wedding is in the hotel or walking distance from most accommodations, there is no provided transportation. Virginia Beach has lots of Ubers and Lyfts if you are coming from your home locally or staying anywhere that is not walking distance!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

All events that you are included in will be listed in the invitation you will receive in the mail next summer. We have lots of our favorite places listed in our "Things To Do" tab, so should you decided to make your trip to Virginia Beach a few days long, we hope you make the most of it!
