Angela Gau
Bride
Angela is the eldest daughter of Wanda and Buddy and was born and raised in Little Falls, MN. Angela attended Mary of Lourdes Catholic School and graduated from Little Falls Community High School. She went on to get her Marketing degree from SCSU while also working as a server at Red Lobster. She has been passionate about music her entire life and has enjoyed teaching lessons, playing for weddings and events and staying active as a church musician. Music has been a large part of her and Kurt's relationship as well, and she likes to think they have a unique "soundtrack" that reflects their life together over the last ten years. Angela is looking forward to what new songs will be featured in the upcoming volumes.
Lauren Seifert
Maid of Honor
Lauren and Angela were introduced as babies when Angela's parents moved to their home on Edgewater Drive next door to Lauren's Grandma Bev. They have remained great friends to this day, even though they typically only get together twice a year for Christmas and summer vacation. They have always enjoyed listening to music together and have fond memories of singing karaoke to the Spice Girls in Angela's basement. They were recently able to catch the Stevie Nicks concert at the State Fair. Angela can think of no one better to stand by her side than the person who has been there for her entire life!
Christina Gau
Bridesmaid
Christina is Angela's middle sister and has been both her arch-nemesis as well as her best friend. Of course, Angela and Christina have experienced their fair share of sibling rivalry over the years, but for the most part, Christina has been someone whom Angela can rely on for advice, an honest (sometimes even brutally honest) opinion, and unfailing love and support. Christina has proven herself to be a loving and caring auntie to Haven and Vincent who think the world of "Auntie Tina". Kurt is looking forward to officially be able to call her "sister"!
Michaela Gau
Bridesmaid
Michaela is Angela's youngest sister and has always been considered the "baby" of the family. Angela was initially disappointed that Michaela was born a girl and not the baby brother she had desperately longed for! Michaela has proven herself to be a valuable asset to the Gau family, despite the fact that she was, indeed, a girl. Michaela and Angela have developed a special bond over the years and rely on each other in many situations. Michaela has been the source of immense joy and laughter for the entire family and has been incredibly instrumental in caring for Haven and Vinny.

Flower Girl
Haven Marie is the 4-year-old daughter of Angela and Kurt and is excited that Mom and Dad are officially getting married. She loves to dance, sing, draw pictures, play in the garden and will talk your ear off if you let her! She is certainly a "social butterfly" and thoroughly enjoys any sort of attention or chance to show off her skills. She is a beautiful person, inside and out.
Vincent Imdieke
Ring Bearer
Vincent Bradley is the almost 3-year-old son of Angela and Kurt. Vincent loves to play in the dirt, jump, run and pick on his big sister. He especially enjoys pretending to be various animals and singing loudly. Vincent is the sweetest boy who has plenty of hugs and kisses to go around and the most precious way of saying, "I lub you." He is a joy to all who meet him!
Buddy Gau
Father of the Bride
Buddy is the loving husband of 32 years to Wanda, the wonderful father to three daughters, and the proud grandpa to Haven and Vincent. He loves to drive around his John Deere and teach his grandchildren all sorts of new things...some of which Angela doesn't always approve of... Angela was blessed to have been raised by a motivated guy who works hard for what he has but also takes a little time to enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
Wanda Marie Gau
Mother of the Bride
Wanda Marie is the loving wife of 32 years to Buddy, the dedicated mother to three daughters, and the active grandmother to Haven and Vincent. She loves to spend time with friends and family and especially enjoys playing "marathon" with the grandchildren (a game where they run in a circle 26 times and drink from pretend water bottles and then win a medal at the end). Angela was blessed to be raised by a woman of strong faith, character, and willpower.
Kurt Imdieke
Groom
Kurt is the youngest son of Kathy and Dan and was born and raised in Sauk Centre, MN. He attended Holy Family Catholic School and graduated from Sauk Centre High School. He went on to college to study Agriculture in Bemidji...a.k.a. "farm school." He finished his two years and headed to Saint Cloud where he found a job bartending. He met Angela a couple years later and the rest is history. Kurt loves that he is able to enjoy his hobbies and share them with his family. Family fishing trips are always enjoyable as well as the relatively new hobby of gardening. The kids are getting REALLY good at picking potato bugs... Kurt is excited to "seal the deal" once and for all and make Angela his wife.
Nick Deters
Best Man
Nick and Kurt became friends in grade school having similar interests in hunting, fishing and girls. The two have stayed friends over the years attending many fishing trips, hunting drives and family functions together. Kurt even found out about the (early) arrival of Nick's son, Zach, as they were on their way back from a fishing trip up North and cell phone service was minimal. Kurt is the Godfather to Nick's daughter, Allison, and Nick is the Godfather to Kurt's son, Vincent.
Jason Speidel
Groomsman
Kurt and Jason, or S-Pac as the guys like to call him, grew up together in Sauk Centre. Kurt and Jason have gotten into all sorts of mischief together over the years and manage to still make time to head up North for some fishing every once in awhile. If Kurt was not marrying Angela, he would definitely want to marry Jason....sorry, Minnow...
Mike Sorenson
Groomsman
Mike and Kurt have been bumming around together since the dawn of time, going on more fishing trips than Angela cares to remember. Sorenson doesn't say much, but he doesn't really need to. He can communicate effectively by using points and grunts and as long as there is an outlet to plug in a toaster for breakfast, he is a happy camper. Mike recently acquired a girlfriend who seems to enjoy fishing as much as he does...so if anyone is looking for a new fishing buddy, call Kurt ASAP.
James "Jimmy" Roering
Usher
James, a.k.a. Jimmy, grew up as a Sauk Centre boy as well. He and Kurt reconnected in Saint Cloud and Jimmy was an integral part of Kurt and Angela's meeting and early relationship. Jimmy was an ever-present figure at the Tavern and Angela was originally under the impression that he "owned the place," since that was the way he acted upon entering. She came to find out he was just Kurt's roommate who enjoyed a cold beer and knew how to work the jukebox. Thanks for all the good times, Jimmy, and we look forward to many more!
Samuel Proell
Usher
Sammy has been part of Kurt and Angela's lives since the very beginning. He was their original roommate along with Jimmy, and together they made some pretty great memories together in Saint Cloud. Sam and Angela were even able to experience being shot at together by the crazy neighbor a few blocks down. Definitely a unique bonding experience...and thankfully no one in our house was injured! Sam has since wholeheartedly adopted the roll of "Uncle Sammy" to Haven and Vincent, making sure to gift them the most annoying toys possible at mom and dad's expense. We are so very thankful to have Sam in our lives and we plan to share many more happy times with him!
Kathy Imdieke
Mother of the Groom
Kathy is the loving wife of 47 years to Dan, the devoted mother to Scott, Aaron and Kurt, and the most wonderful grandmother to Abe, Grace, Val, Phil, Jonathan, Haven, Vincent, Lakelyn and Marlee. Kathy is an incredibly talented quilter and seamstress who can whip up an Elsa dress in the matter of a few hours. She loves to spend time with her sisters, friends and family and adores every minute she gets to play with her grandchildren. From bubbles to basketball games, she does it all! Kathy and Dan raised Kurt to be a dependable and resourceful person and for that Angela is grateful.

Dan is the devoted husband of 47 years to Kathy, the dedicated father to Scott, Aaron and Kurt, and the lovable grandpa to Abe, Grace, Val, Phil, Jonathan, Haven, Vincent, Lakelyn and Marlee. Dan enjoys spending time with his friends and especially loves family time. Dan is a prime example of a hard-working and dedicated patriarch who, together with Kathy, raised a family of strong and dependable men. Everyone who knows Dan knows he deeply loves his family and his country...and he also loves to talk.
Scott Imdieke
Brother of the Groom
Scott is Kurt's oldest brother. The two grew up in different worlds as Scott was already in high school when Kurt was just in grade school. Kurt has always been impressed by Scott's motivation and drive to accomplish his goals. Scott and his wife, Tanya, have brought 4 wonderful children into the world and they have raised them into excellent role models for Haven and Vincent to look up to. Angela and Kurt are thankful to have such a loving and faithful family to look up to as they build their own.
Aaron Imdieke
Brother of the Groom
Aaron is Kurt's middle brother and has always been there for Kurt to keep him on his toes. Kurt was the classic, not at all annoying little brother. In high school, Aaron was given the responsibility of being Kurt's morning transportation. It was well-known to Kurt that if he wasn't in the car when Aaron was ready to go, he was walking to school that day. The benefit, however, to having Aaron as an older brother, was that all his hand-me-downs were of excellent quality. Aaron and his wife, Lora, along with their son, Jonathan and twin daughters, Marlee and Lakelyn have brought much love and tons of fun to Angela and Kurt's lives.
