Kurt and Lindsay first met in October 2008 in Redding, CA. Kurt went back to New York to finish his enlistment in the Army, and they met back up in December of 2008 and began dating in January 2009. They dated long distance for the first fourteen months, making trips to visit each other at least once a month. In April 2010, Kurt moved to Livermore, and shortly thereafter, the pair moved into their first apartment in Dublin. They lived together in Dublin for three and a half years. During that time, they attended various concerts, museums, baseball games to cheer on their rival teams, and started homebrewing and visiting local craft breweries. In 2013, they moved to Livermore, where Kurt started working in craft beer. They attended beer festivals on both sides of the table, and took three separate trips to Denver for the Great American Beer Festival, the nation's largest beer fest. In 2017, they made their biggest leap, moving to Redding. Linds got a job in Public Health, a lifelong dream of hers. Kurt, while not staying in craft beer, continued to pursue his passion in craft beer by homebrewing and planning their next adventure. On November 5, 2018, Kurt proposed to Lindsay over a bottle of Sierra Nevada Celebration, which was also the first beer they drank together when they met. And the rest is lacing on the glass...
