Where do we park for the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

There is a hotel parking garage off of Iona Street in downtown Grand Rapids that you can park in for the whole night. Address for parking garage: 37 Iona Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

What attire should I wear?

Answer

This will be a semi formal event. Semi-formal attire is an outfit that is dressier than what you'd wear to an office but not as dressy as a formal evening gown or tuxedo.

What time does the ceremony & reception start?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4pm-5pm The reception starts at 7pm-12am Reception will start seating at 6:30pm

What am I supposed to do for the 2 hours between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Welcome to beer city! Go grab a snack or drink at a local bar! The venue is right on Monroe which is conveniently located next to Brick & Porter, Uccellos, The Bob, GR Brewery, Flanagan's Irish Pub, and Sundance. There are also very yummy coffee shops like Madcap Coffee, Starbucks, and Biggby. This is also a great time to get checked into your hotel if you will be staying in town for the night.

Please include dietary restrictions on your RSVP.

Is this a no children event?

Answer

Yes, the only children that will attend this event are those who are a part of the bridal party.

Will there be drinks?

Answer

Yes! Please do not BYOB, there will be a hefty fine for the bride and groom to pay if there are outside beverages brought in. There will be an open bar with Beer and Wine. Spirits can be purchased at the cash bar. No shots are allowed at the venue.

Will there be an ASL Interpreter?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will have an ASL interpreter for the vows, prayer, toasts and speeches.
