English: We met on Bumble at the beginning of spring. Our first date was at Puttshack, a fun mini-golf spot in Nashville. As soon as we saw each other, the first thing Kuriko said was, “You should change your haircut”. Not your typical first date opener—but definitely unforgettable. Joshua was surprised by her honesty, but something about it stuck with him. From that moment, he felt something special. For Kuriko, it wasn’t love at first sight—but she had a good feeling and gave him a second chance. Their second date was on Easter Sunday. They had a sweet breakfast together, and later he dropped her off to meet a friend, picked her up again, and took her to church. From then on, things started to flow naturally and beautifully. Not long after, something happened to Kuriko at a bus stop that made her feel unsafe. When she told Joshua, even though they were still getting to know each other, he immediately started picking her up and dropping her off every day. He wanted to make sure she was safe.
