The Kancamagus Scenic Byway is a 34.5 mile scenic drive along Rt. 112 in Northern New Hampshire. It is well known as one of the best fall foliage viewing areas in the country. The highway begins roughly 30 minutes north of Plymouth. It takes about 2-3 to drive the highway if you plan on stopping to explore along the way.

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is roughly 15 minutes from Plymouth. They exhibit a variety of wild animals, including river otters, mountain lions, bobcats, deer, bears, birds, foxes, and skunks.

Seven Birches winery is located roughly 30 minutes outside of Plymouth, within the Riverwalk Resort at Loon Mountain.
