It was 2021. The world was on pause. Lockdown. Masks. Sanitizers. And endless scrolling. One random swipe. One unexpected match. And one conversation that never really ended. Yes, we did match on a dating app, and yes people do marry through dating apps. 💖

Long before our trip to Indonesia, I saw photos of Padar Island on social media and honestly thought they had to be AI-generated. It seemed impossible that a place that beautiful could be real. Ever since then, seeing Padar Island with my own eyes had been on my bucket list. What I didn't know was that while I was dreaming about the destination, Ashu was planning a moment I would never forget. Standing together at the top, surrounded by views that felt almost unreal, he asked me to spend forever with him. Of course, I said yes 💗 Padar Island will always be more than a destination to us. It's where a dream came true, where love met adventure, and where our forever began.

On our first trip there, we found ourselves standing on a cliff near Balangan Beach, watching the ocean stretch endlessly in front of us. Right there on the cliff, an intimate wedding ceremony was taking place. There was something so magical about that moment, the ocean breeze, the golden light, and two people promising forever with the sea as their backdrop. We remember looking at each other and thinking how beautiful it would be to get married somewhere like that. Now, coming back to Bali to say “I do” feels incredibly special, like returning to where the dream first began. There truly couldn’t be a more perfect place to begin our forever. 🤍🌴✨
