Question
What time should we arrive at the venue if the ceremony starts at 5pm?
Answer
You can arrive as early as 2pm if you're really bored or want to help us decorate! ;) But in all seriousness, plan to arrive around 4:45 to ensure we can get the ceremony started on time at 5pm.

Will there be a place to park on site?
Answer
Yes, there is plenty of space for parking for all of our guests (40 primary spots) as well as an overflow lot nearby.

Will any part of the ceremony be outside?
Answer
Yes, the ceremony will take place in an open air chapel with a covered roof. We aim to keep the ceremony fairly short since it will likely be hot this time of year!

Can I bring my pet?
Answer
Unfortunately, the venue only permits pets belonging to the bride and groom.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our ceremony will take place briefly in a covered, open-air chapel, and then we'll move indoors to an air-conditioned reception for the rest of the evening. Given the Texas summer, we recommend Smart Casual attire with a focus on light and comfortable fabrics. For ladies: Light and flowy dresses (sundresses, maxi dresses) with breathable fabrics to keep you cool For gentlemen: Dress slacks or nice chinos paired with a crisp button-down shirt or a nice polo shirt would be ideal. We welcome you to wear a suit and tie, but know that Texas summers can make it hot, so you are more than fine to remove the coat during the ceremony Your comfort is important to us, so choose something that allows you to enjoy both our brief outdoor ceremony and the indoor festivities!"

What kind of food will be served?
Answer
We want to give our guests the full Texas experience since so many of you will be traveling from outside of Texas, so we be serving a casual Tex-Mex style dinner, catered by a local Texas-based Tex-Mex restaurant.

Will there be dancing?
Answer
We're not much of the dancing type, but we may do a few slow dances for those who want to slow dance with their partners! We love games and want to enjoy them with our guests! Plan to have a variety of games to play with your family, new friends, and loved ones. We may even have a few that we've developed!

How late will the party go?
Answer
We actually have access to the venue overnight and into Monday. Some of our guests from out of town will be staying in the guest cottages on the same venue site. Therefore, we can keep the party going until around 10-10:30pm for those interested in some star gazing, marshmallow roasting, and catching up on old times together. :)
Question
For those staying on site overnight, what time is check-out?
Answer
Check-out time on Monday morning is at 11am. No need to clean your cottages or remove trash. We hope you enjoy your stay!
