Steamboat is packed full of fun activities, and there is so much to see and do, but here are just a few of our favorites!

Things To Do

One of our favorite hiking spots, only 5 miles from downtown Steamboat. Quick easy walk to the first falls, or hike the tough 5 mile loop to the Upper Falls.

Fish Creek Falls

Natural hot spring resort 7 miles from downtown Steamboat. Relax in one of the many hot pools or cool off in the river that runs through it! As of July the springs are still requiring reservations.

Strawberry Park Hot Springs

The longest mountain coaster in North America, located on Mt. Werner in Gondola Square. Gondola Square is a great place to explore while in town with lots of fun family activities and restaurants!

Outlaw Mountain Coaster

One of the most popular summer activities in Steamboat is tubing the yampa! Fun, and safe for the whole family!

Tube the Yampa River

Local public golf course with mountains views! Club rental is available with your tee time.

Haymaker Golf Course

Whether it’s the Yampa river, Stagecoach, or Steamboat lake, the Steamboat area is known as a fisherman’s paradise. There are a bunch of local guides if you are new to the sport or you can always rent gear and venture out yourself!

Horseback riding on Saddleback Ranch is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Colorado scenery, and take some gorgeous pictures. There is an excellent chance of seeing wildlife on this horseback riding excursion near Steamboat.
