Sheraton Resort & Spa is a resort in the Hua Hin region of northern Thailand. Hua Hin is a 2 to 3-hour drive from Bangkok.
From Bangkok, private car transfer would be the most convenient option for you. You can either visit one of the many taxi booths located in the airport or you can even book through the Grab App! Depending on the traffic, it may take 2-3 hours to get to Sheraton. There are also a few service stops along the way for you to freshen up and stretch your legs! From Bangkok, we recommend that you leave no later than 11am on the 15th of November to ensure that you have some downtime and to get ready before the first event at 6pm.
This will differ depending on where you are travelling from. As per the Australian Thai embassy, Australian Passport Holders are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days on each visit. However, entering Thailand without a Visa through land border check-points is restricted to only twice per calendar year. For Indian Passport Holders traveling as tourists, a visa can be obtained on arrival at Bangkok for a maximum stay of 60 days. You must present your return/onward ticket with a departure within 60 days from arrival date, a proof of accommodation, 1 recent passport photo and at least THB 10,000.- per person (or THB 20,000.- per family). Your passport must contain at least 1 unused visa page and the visa fee must be paid in cash only and in THB. We would highly recommend that you do your own research and use this guidance as ONLY a starting point.
In November, Thailand experiences warm and sunny weather, making it an ideal time to visit. The average daily temperatures in Hua Hin at this time range from 24°C–31°C (75°F–88°F).
