Wedding Dress Code

Answer

Formal / Black Tie Optional We kindly request formal attire for the evening. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are welcome, but not required. A dark suit and tie or a formal dress are perfectly appropriate. Please note that the ceremony will take place on grass. We look forward to celebrating in style with you! P.S. The bridesmaids will be in black, but that doesn't mean you can't be too. :)

8 - 10 PM Drinks & Apps To Be Provided Dressy Casual Attire *This event is overlooking the Newport Marina on the dock, so we recommend bringing a light sweater for the sea breeze. There is an overhang, so the event will be covered in case of rain—no need to worry about the weather! The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina - Saltwater Restaurant (49 America's Cup Avenue Newport 02840) *Some paid parking available onsite. The restaurant is located around back at the Saltwater Restaurant attached to The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina.

Wedding Events

Answer

The Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception and After Party will all take place at OceanCliff Hotel. The Ceremony is located outside on the lawn overlooking the bay. After the ceremony we will move under the tent for cocktail hour. The Reception will take place inside within the Grand Ballroom. If you are joining us for the After Party that will be in the Safari Room located in the room next door.

Wedding Day Transportation

Answer

Transportation will be provided from both the Wyndham & Newport Harbor Hotel to OceanCliff for the wedding and will also be provided after the reception has ended at 11 pm & the after party at 1 am. Pick-up Times: 4:30 PM: Wyndham Newport (240 Aquidneck Ave Middletown, RI 02842) 4:45 PM: Newport Harbor Hotel (49 America's Cup Ave) Post Wedding: 1st Departure: 11 PM - Immediately following the wedding 2nd Departure: 1 AM - Immediately following the after party There is also plenty of free overnight parking available onsite at OceanCliff if you prefer to drive yourself!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

If you are driving or ubering please arrive for the ceremony by 5:15 to find your seat as it will promptly begin at 5:30.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We absolutely love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. Think of it as a well-deserved date night—time to relax, sip some champagne, and dance the night away!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our nearest and dearest! Our guest list is limited to those listed on the invitation. If your invite says “and guest,” we can’t wait to meet them. If not, we appreciate you coming solo to celebrate with us!
