Breweries
If you know anything about us, you know we love breweries! Here's a few of our favorites: Metropolitan Brewing - located on the river near Avondale. This is where our engagement photos were taken! Maplewood Brewery - also near Avondale, Great beer + offers food Hopewell Brewing Company - in Logan Square. Board games and great beer! Forbidden Root - Botanical brewery in our neighborhood. This was our first brewery together! Lo Rez Brewing - this is just a few blocks from our venue so super conventient if you want to grab a drink before the ceremony!
Restaurants
Feel free to reach out for any recommendations, but below are just a few of our favorite places for food! Parlor Pizza - the River North location is conveniently located near the hotels, good pizza (NOT deep dish) and great beer selection La Scarola - old school Italian restaurant, also not too far from the hotels. HUGE portions Green St Meats - in the West Loop, great BBQ Little Goat Diner - also in West Loop, great choice for any meal Yuzu - one of our favorite sushi restaurants, in our neighborhood in West Town
Architecture River Cruise
The river boat architecture tour is one of the best ways to see the city of Chicago! Tours are 75 minutes and run pretty frequently throughout the day.
