Colossians 3:14

A day filled with excitement from the very beginning, ended with the most spectacular surprise imaginable. June 15th, 2019 began with Tyler & I in Minneapolis, MN. Minneapolis is a beautiful city, but being out there was magnified by 1000x because we were able to visit Kevin & Alex in their new place, & catch up on everything happening in their lives! Which just added to the greatness of the weekend! On the day of the engagement, Tyler & I were given a tour of the city in the morning by Kevin, & then we spent the afternoon getting ready for Joe Mauer's retirement ceremony & commemorative Twins game at Target Field. Joe has always been my ALL-TIME favorite player, & I was beyond excited that Tyler was sweet enough to get us tickets (really great tickets by the way) to his retirement game! June 15th started out warm & sunny, but the forecast predicted rain & thunderstorms about an hour before game time & all through the night. (Just our luck!) But was that going to stop us..heck no! Was it maybe going to stress Tyler out if the game got delayed?...I'll let you decide! I was so excited when we got to the field that I didn't even realize it had started to sprinkle. However, after about 15 minutes of light drizzling, it stopped. Joe's celebration was so special it left me with tears in my eyes. But, the magic didn't stop there. After the game Tyler met up with one of Alex's friends who's in PR at the Twins (how amazing is my future sister-in-law, right?!)...& this guy was able to take us ON THE FIELD to allow us to share the most special moment. Yes, thats when Tyler got down on one knee! I was already emotional, but that immediately had the tears rolling! I was so surprised but SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY. I said yes as quick as I could & will continue to say yes, forever. Tyler & I are so excited for our wedding day to be here, so we can start our next chapter as husband & wife! But, we will both definitely remember 6/15/19 <3. Forever etched on our hearts. What a night!
