We met during our sophomore year of college, sitting a couple seats apart in several different classes for our shared major, both preparing for a future that God had called us to pursue. It didn’t take long for familiarity to turn into friendship. What started as casual conversations slowly grew into something deeper, stitched together by laughter, encouragement, and a quiet understanding of one another’s dreams. At the heart of it all was our shared love for Jesus, a faith that shaped not only how we saw the world but how we cared for each other. We prayed before our baseball and softball games, talked about purpose and calling, and found comfort knowing our relationship was rooted in something greater than ourselves. In the middle of college life’s chaos, our love grew steady and sincere—a partnership built on shared passions, shared faith, and a sense that we had found something rare in each other.
