New Year, New Last Name!

Once upon a time, in the depths of a pandemic, Lexi was quarantined with COVID and a slight case of boredom. Armed with nothing but a box of tissues and a dating app, she stumbled across Daniel's profile. Whether it was the fever talking or fate stepping in, she thought, "Wow, he's cute." With a swipe and a chat, they hit it off right away. Their conversations flowed effortlessly, and soon, they decided to meet in person. What started as casual dates quickly turned into something more—especially when Daniel's dad stepped in as Daniel’s unofficial chauffeur for those early sleepovers. Romantic? Maybe not. Memorable? Absolutely. Daniel adored how easy it was to talk to Lexi and how her humor and warmth made him feel at home. Lexi, in turn, fell for Daniel’s genuine charm, his passion for football, and the way he lit up when sharing stories. Before long, they were collecting firsts: their first vacation, their first holiday, and yes, even their first fight. Eventually, they took the leap into their first apartment together, turning it into a home filled with love and laughter.

On December 21, 2024 Daniel and Lexi went to the Milwaukee Domes. While walking through the tropical dome, they stopped by a pond. Daniel said a few loving words, got down on one knee, and asked Lexi to marry him. She said yes about 10 times, and spent the rest of the day celebrating with their family.
