When should I travel?

Answer

Completely up to you! Feel free to come for the whole weekend or just early on Sunday morning! Sunday will be a whole day of celebrating so we recommend spending the night if you can! Additional information can be found under the TRAVEL tab.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the Lake Drive Property between 9:45AM and 10:15AM to allow ample time for parking and getting seated before the procession begins promptly at 10:30AM.

Where can I park in Chesapeake City?

Answer

Chesapeake City is a small, quaint town, with very limited parking. We suggest using the valet parking offered by the Chesapeake Inn. Valet is $5 per car.

Please wear semi-formal attire.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the day. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home to celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! As we have a strict guest list to stay within our venue's capacity and our budget, we can only accommodate those listed on your specific invitation. Thank you for understanding!

What is the Deck After Party?

Answer

The Chesapeake Inn has a lower level deck area with a Tiki Bar and live music! Following the reception, we plan to enjoy the rest of the evening celebrating on the downstairs deck! Feel free to come and go as you please, but definitely stop by for a little at the very least!
