Maid of Honor
I first met Ashley in 3rd grade. It was love at first sight…just kidding. From day one Ashley and I have always been opposites. I was the weird new kid and she was the cool girl that had so many friends.Differences aside we quickly became inseparable. When we weren’t at school, we were either at TCBY or playing outside. But if were being honest, the outside part only came after we would watch Charmed. Ashley and I’s friendship has grown so much of the years that it is more than just a friendship. We are family. Ashley and I are each other’s person. But in September Ashley will be gaining another person. Ian is the only other person I would want to share Ashley with and that is why I am so excited celebrate these two amazing people starting married life together.
Best Man
Most great days start out with coffee and the same can be said for my 21st birthday. But this particular day the celebration started early and so my iced coffee came with bourbon. Probably the most memorable day I’ve had in a long time; consisted of family, festivities, laughter, glow in the dark balls, and getting kicked out of a club, not necessarily in that order. Ian and Ashley are the reason for some of the greatest memories I’ve had and two of the best companions anyone could ask for. They extended an invitation to discover a beautiful new part of the world and then housed me and fed me until was able to contribute. Chef, nanny, technician, daughter, son, sister, brother, they hold so many titles but the one I’m most proud of and thankful for is to be to be able to call them friend.

Ashley and I have been friends since 2nd grade. Ashley has been there through the best and worst times of my life and has never faltered in standing by my side. Most days when we got home from junior high, we would make bagel bites, sing karaoke in her basement, and gush about our crushes. In high school we walked through heartbreak, life struggles, girls’ trips, and growing up. Ashley makes me a better person; she is my favorite person to go out on the town with and will always be there for a phone call or a movie day. Ashley is hilarious, fun, wild, caring, kind, genuine, creative, brave, and a wonderful friend. It is an honor to stand by her side as she marries the love of her life, and I am so thankful to be able to witness their relationship and its impact on the world.

“Ashley and I met two years ago at work but we did not become close friends until she randomly invited me to NYE with her and Ian. That was the start of a friendship I was so in need of. From being Ashley’s boss at work to being her friend, I have seen how creative, passionate, and loyal she is in all she does and with those she loves. I have seen her grow in so many ways, but the best was watching her relationship with Ian grow as they tackled obstacles and grew even more in love with each other. I love every moment that I spend with both Ashley and Ian and am so thankful to call them both my best friends. Cheers to the Kuchmans!”

I remember the first time Ian an I met working atClinton mac Donalds, I remember as always Ian was the man spitting rhymes in the back, never a dull moment! Whether it was to meet up at the buffet or Clinton station diner to catch UP an let loose Ian was always the first to turn up the night ! I was so happy when i met ashley for the first time when Amanda an I stayed at their place in Colorado, that was an experience of a lifetime. I could tell Ashley an lan were great together, they compliment each other well, in another word she kept Ian out of trouble an on the right path. Even though we live so far apart it still feels like he's my neighbor and i could call him anytime for his support, advice, or just to shoot the shit. I am so happy for you two an wish the best for your future.

Three years ago, I met Ashley for a drink that has blossomed into a friendship that is unforgettable. From craft nights to trying new places and recipes, Ru Paul and dance nights, whatever we do together is a fun adventure. Ashley is a joy to be around and her light shines so brightly. I love that Ian upholds her and gives her a safe space to shine. Together they’ve made each other “Home”. To the Kuchman’s!

Shortly after meeting in high school, Ash & Steph became Wally & Buggy and the pair has been inseparable since. Between long talks, endless adventures, purple potatoes, and a lot of time spent simply “doing nothing”- Buggy & Wally became family. Steph can’t wait to celebrate the beautiful couple. Together, Ash & Ian have a knack for capturing & appreciating the whimsical, charming, & vivaciousness of life. They forged their way into each other’s hearts boldly & unapologetically. As a couple they embody the warmth & spirit of life and take the time to cherish & appreciate each other & ones they love. “Love? Above all things I believe in love. Love is like oxygen. Love is a many splendored things. Love lifts us up where we belong... all you need is love” Cheers to you, beautiful humans!

PA to CA to OR and into the back of a silver toaster oven. Not only was I in for the ride of my life but I had no car, no cash, and about a total of a years worth of knowledge about who the man piloting this rectangular time capsule (that I could remember) that helped shape me and introduced me to the real world. His trustee copilot and demander of Panera bread and booze. The beautiful, but humble, Ashley, Stands strong beside him at every waking hour and has no problem gripping the wheel and taking them both out if it’s all falling apart. We don’t always know where life will take us or who will lead us there, but the friendships along the way make their mark on our future, my future -Trent w Henkels

The universe pulled Ashley and I together in 2013 and though we missed the signs a few times, we finally got it right. Funnily enough, besides the height difference, we look a lot alike, she even thought a picture of me was her once! We are such opposites though, she is adventurous where I am cautious and she is always guiding me outside my comfort zone, like going to the aquarium to face my underwater fears. She is the Slytherin to my Hufflepuff and our late-night heart to hearts are some of my most valued memories. I’ve loved seeing her relationship with Ian bloom and grow into the powerhouse that it is. He is perfect for her adventurous needs, like moving 1000 miles away or planning random weekend trips and I am so honored to be part of their Wedding Day!
