String Theory of Human Connection

"The 'string theory of human connection,' is a metaphorical concept suggesting that all people are interconnected by an unseen, intangible bond."

At the end of their first date, Kaitlyn told Thomas to look through his high school yearbook. This is when he found MULTIPLE pictures of her... in fact there were more pictures of her than him in his own, all boys, high school yearbook. How did they not meet earlier on? It wasn't their time yet. While Thomas was blocking pucks in the hockey net, Kaitlyn was singing her heart out on stage, in talent shows, and at the CBA BBQ. At any moment they could have bumped into each other or held the door on the way to the parking lot, but it wasn't until the universe knew they needed each other that their paths finally crossed. Since their first date at the Inkwell in Long Branch talking over coffee and tea until 2am, they became inseparable. Not even a 45-minute drive between Marlboro and Howell, Kaitlyn moving to Queens a year into their relationship, nor a pandemic could keep them apart. Some might even say the distance and adversity made them stronger by making them realize they can trust and lean on each other to get through the toughest obstacles. Six years from the beginning, Thomas finally popped the question in Van Vorst Park, and it was the easiest "Yes!" Kaitlyn ever needed to say. Now, they look forward to their big day and growing old together.
