While we love your little ones, this is strictly an adults-only wedding with the exception of those children that are in the wedding. We want everyone to relax and enjoy the night, and highly encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Both! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, and the reception will take place inside the barn. The barn doors open to the patio, and we hope to have the party flow to the outdoor patio as the night carries on!
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Barn on New River in West Jefferson, NC.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking, your glass of welcome champagne, and your seat. The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm, so plan to arrive by 4:30pm. Once the ceremony begins, entrance will not be granted until the ceremony is completed.

Typically, early August has average temperatures of 78-85 in the day and cooler in the evening with temperatures of around 65-70. Please note that it will be H O T during the day, but it will get cooler in the evening. And while we can't predict the weather, thankfully, the mountains aren't as humid as what most of us are used to. We have some ideas that might help mitigate the heat!
Yes! Saturday's drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you, so PLEASE drink responsibly! If you are not taking a shuttle back to the hotels, please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking. Your safety is important to us.

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided on the wedding invitations that will be sent out in the future, you will automatically be marked at "Not Attending." We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time frame they have given us. Thank you for understanding!
