Kevin and Lisa's story started 15 years ago, when Kevin first saw Lisa at their high school homecoming dance. He asked his friends to see who she was and immediately knew he had to meet her. He found the opportunity when a group of mutual friends were video chatting on Toxbox, including Lisa. Everyone eventually logged off until it was just the two of them, talking and laughing for hours into the night. Filled with anticipation and excitement, they continued their conversation into the next day when Kevin would meet Lisa at her locker and walk her to class. Lisa would sneak out during her French class to meet Kevin even for a few minutes. Surprisingly, Lisa never became proficient in French. When they finally had class together, Kevin and Lisa realized that both their first and last names were alphabetized. So to their advantage, whether by first or last name, they were always seated next to each other in class. After getting in trouble one too many times from talking too much in class, their teacher eventually had to reassign Kevin to the opposite end of the classroom away from Lisa. Kevin and Lisa became official in the Spring of 2009. Their high school years were filled with endless joy, laughter, and excitement for the future. They would go on dates walking along Ocean Beach, watching the sunset at Land’s End, getting boba at Wonderful’s, exploring the city in Kevin’s blue truck, and walking to each other's home. They shared their hopes and dreams for the future, not knowing their journey would transpire over the next 15 years. As they grew up together from teenagers into their adulthood, so has their love for each other. With half of their lives spent together, they look forward to celebrating their soon to be 16 years of love in Spring of 2025 with their loved ones beside them.
