George Mitchell Nature Preserve
The Woodlands offers over 220 miles of hike and bike trails and 150 parks, making it a vast outdoor playground. A popular spot is the 1,800-acre George Mitchell Nature Preserve, where visitors can hike two miles, observe wildlife, or ride three miles of bike trails. The preserve is part of the Montgomery County Spring Creek Greenway, which will connect 12,000 acres of forest near Spring Creek. Access is available at the Flintridge Drive trailhead, near Rob Fleming Park and the Texas TreeVentures aerial adventure course.
