Katie and John met during their undergraduate at the University of Georgia. The two hit it off quickly when their first date at Cali N Titos lasted over four hours. Katie and John love traveling, playing board games, going to sushi buffets, cooking together, and watching Survivor (John's favorite show). The couple also love spending time with their rugged Scotsman, Sherlock. John's calm demeanor perfectly matches Katie's Type-A personality. They are constantly pushing each other to try new things and broaden their horizons--they are ecstatic to start this new adventure together!

Sherlock, Katie's BFFL came into her life around her sixteenth birthday. Since that time, he's been a constant companion, consistent paw licker, and source of laughs. If you ever need a pick me up, Professor Terrier is there for a quick chat in between his lectures. Our newest addition, Miss Watson, was a surprise Valentine's gift from John to Katie. She is one spunky girl with more fierce energy than we could have ever imagined! She loves following her Mom around like a little shadow and giving her Dad little kisses.

Shan and Katie first met through their sorority, Delta Gamma. Living across the hall in the DG house eventually led to them living together in an apartment (for many moons). Fast friends, Shan has provided several grand-dogs and laughs along the way!

Katie met her original soulmate the first day of sorority recruitment at UGA. They both joined Delta Gamma and quickly became best friends. Catherine has been her rock even from Tulsa, OK--she's the cat lady to Katie's dog mom.

Kim and Katie met in their 7th grade science class (although Kim may say otherwise). They've shared years of memories since then. She has always balanced Katie out and is her favorite ray of sunshine!

Jessi and Katie met during their one-year internship at Athens Retina Center. Now, she can't imagine life without her! After seeing the 1000s of pictures of her cat "Turtle", Katie knew they would be best buds. From her pure heart to her love of candles, Katie and Jessi became quick BFFs.

Jordane, AKA J-Dawg. She bravely spent her senior year with Katie (actually 24/7) and has been there for all the ups and downs. She has an uncanny way of knowing Katie's next make-up haul or Chick-fil-a order.

Jade Perry, the OG squad! Jade was Katie's first friend in Dawsonville and forever partner playing "Evil Assistant Principal." Whether she's reading a new book or riding her horse, she inspires Katie to stay wild and enjoy life's adventures!

Tony is the younger brother of the groom. While the two brothers have always had a sibling rivalry, they have grown close by bonding over watching football and basketball, complaining about things, and eating out frequently.

Drew is one of John's best buds from high school. John has always respected Drew's ability to say things as they are and his unquestioned loyalty to his friends.

Spencer has seen the best and worst of John. The two became fast friends during freshman year of high school. They ran both Cross Country and Track, took most of their classes together and spent their weekends and breaks playing video games and complaining about their girl problems.
Ian Davis

John and Ian met freshman year of college at UGA. The two bonded over sports, dining hall food, and the classes they took together. John and Ian also served together in leadership roles through multiple student groups. Ian also stubbornly denies that John ever dunked on him.
Chris Misenheimer

Chris and John met their freshman year of college and quickly grew close due to their shared love of basketball, dry humor, and fast food, including dozens of Cookout runs during their time at UGA. While John taught Chris how to dunk, Chris taught John how to set up four TV screens to properly watch March Madness. The ginger beard brothers are a force unlike no other.

John and Sam met freshman year on the Myers Hall basketball courts. Sam was instantly amazed with John's uncanny ability to make unconventional looking floaters and pull-ups. The two have bonded over a shared love of food and sarcasm.
