We met on Facebook! I was single and he saw a pretty face, we first spoke to each other on a dating site after becoming friends on Facebook. It really pays to know people because without our friends we may have never met each other.
After five months we finally got to use Gray's 2nd anniversary present (Learn to Fly Monterey) which set the entire afternoon and on into the evening. It was a little rocky starting off due to my headset not working properly but once i gave up trying to fix them the view was magical. Gray flew the plane (with the instructors help) as I relaxed into the backseat and enjoyed views of the coast line heading down towards Big Sur. We couldn't make it all the way down because of the fog, so our instructor decided to let us fly to Santa Cruz, what a sight once we got near the boardwalk it was beautiful. As we returned to Monterey it was absolutely breathtaking to land during the sunset, I will keep that memory with me forever. After our exciting adventure together we headed down to Cannery Row for dinner at the Chart House, which by the way served some awesome pasta and prime rib. I thought our wonderful day had come to an end until Gray led me on the beach for an evening walk, halfway through our walk he got down on one knee and pulled out a little box and as he opened it, he asked “Will You Marry Me”.
