Once upon a time (fourth grade, to be exact), we were table mates and instant friends. After different middle schools, we found ourselves at the same high school—running in different circles and not seeing each other often, but always smiling when we did. Twenty-one years of friendship, memories, and growing later, we finally went on our first date on March 2, 2024. Turns out, forever was worth the wait.
