FAQs

The Wedding Website of Krystyna Tate and DeShawn Davenport
Question

When should we RSVP?

Answer

We have a strict RSVP date of May 15, 2026. Official invitations will be sent in February. If you do not RSVP by May 15th, we will assume that you are unable to attend. We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes (5:30pm) prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat. Once the ceremony begins, no entrance will be granted until the couple says I DO.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Let's look good in our after 5, cocktail attire. The color palette is navy and magenta with shades of soft purple and gold. Feel free to join in the color scheme. Please refrain from wearing jeans or shades of white and ivory.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love all the kids in our lives— and your lives, we have decided our wedding will be an adults-only celebration! We hope this advance notice allows time for you to make
arrangements!

Question

Where's your registry?

Answer

We truly feel blessed to celebrate this special moment with our loved ones. While we’re not doing a traditional gift registry, we will have a wishing well at the celebration for those who would like to leave a gift and you can leave a gift electronically on this site also.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

You are free to stay wherever you'd like. If you are looking to live it up, I suggest staying in or near the French Quarter. In the travel section of the site, I listed the Spring Hill Suites/ Towne Place Suites on Canal. The link will provide you with a variety of Marriott properties in the area. The French Quarter is about 25 minutes away from the venue. If you would like to stay near the venue, I recommend the Courtyard by Marriott in Gretna. It's about 15 minutes from the venue and about 15 minutes from the French quarter that sits right off of the interstate.

Question

Can I bring a plus one (extra person/date)?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, and to fit venue requirements, only the guest(s) formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.
