We're Getting Married!

It is funny how life works... About the Bride and Groom: Nikki is the daughter of Beth Lewis and George Kryston. Graduating in 2009 from Buckeye Local High School, Nikki obtained an undergraduate degree in Business Management to then continue her education at Wheeling Jesuit University graduating with her Masters in Business Administration. In addition to her parents, she has two incredible step-parents, Jon Lewis and Janie Kryston. Nikki has 2 step brothers, Nic (Holly Fledderus), Lane Fledderus and a step-sister Nicole (JM) McCoy. Nikki has a passion for her animals, family, friends, and her career. She loves gardening in the summer, spending time with her friends and family, and her new found passion of Pilates. Oh, and don't forget.... A good Lemondrop Martini. Austin is the son of Alex (Butch) and Mary Jo Grendel. In addition to his parents, he has a beautiful sister, Shelby. Graduating in 2013 from Wheeling Central Catholic High School, Austin began his career immediately upon graduating. He graduated from Belmont College with a degree in industrial electronic technology and instrumentation/control and began turning wrenches where his passion lies today. Austin enjoys the little things in life, but mostly his tools. Austin's knowledge, passion, and understanding for mechanics is not only a career for him, but his love. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, turning wrenches, fishing, shooting, and a nice cold Modelo. How we met: In 2023, Austin was working at Lowe's and Nikki's family business was in need of a mechanic. A mutual friend (Thank you Jermaine Jackson) recommended Austin to apply to Property Maintenance Services, Inc. Instantly, The Kryston's knew Austin was the man for the job. Austin began working for PMSI where he and Nikki began their friendship. Austin respected Nikki at every angle as Nikki put her trust into Austin's expertise. Their friendship and trust is what built a strong foundation for love! Nikki and Austin had every chance to meet before this moment. Nikki spent many days a week at her friend Jamie's which was right below where Austin was living with his parents. Austin remembers seeing Nikki's black Ford Edge at Jamie's residence but never crossed paths. Austin's and his sister Shelby were within a couple years of Nikki's step-sister Nicole at Wheeling Central High School where they knew a lot of the same people. Again, never crossing paths. In addition, Austin's parents Mary Jo and Alex (Butch) were friends with Nikki's cousin where they spent a lot of their years growing up hanging out together. Our families knew many of the same friends but again, never crossed paths.... Throughout these little glimpses of Nikki & Austin's lives, it is attest to following God's plan and the right person will come into your life at the right time. We are so very thankful for the love and support we have received from our family and friends. Thanking each and everyone one of you is something we simply can never express enough and we can not wait to celebrate with you!!
