We are excited to celebrate with you

It all started in P.E. Class at school. He was a Senior and I was a Freshman. Boy, was I swooning over him. He walked around with such confidence and swag. We talked and flirted often but this girl was not of his stature or age. Fast forward to 12 years later and a social media DM and we hit it off. He took me out to a very nice sophisticated dinner and I was so a taken back by his knowledge of food (which I LOVE) not to mention his job title was Executive Chef. I was so intrigued by this mysterious man. Conversation was great and so was the company, we were both so smitten with one another. The rest is history. The saying holds true " He had me from Hello".

It was just another day. Actually, the day after my birthday, August 1, 2019. Brian Surprised Kaelyn and I with a day off to celebrate me since he had to work the previous day. It started with a quick yummy breakfast then off to the spa. Brian booked us couples massages and Kaelyn a Mani & Pedi. All of which turned out to be fantastic. When we were done there we were going to head to do a quick errand when Brian said "Hey, lets run by to see your dad" ( he passed away in January 2015). I thought.. what a great idea, so we headed to the cemetery. Upon our arrival, it was raining and although hesitant to get out, I did. I Cleaned around my fathers grave site and Brian suggested Kaelyn and I get a picture together, then suggested him and I get a picture together. Kaelyn grabbed the phone and "pretended" to take a picture,she actually started to record it all. We finished posing then I proceeded to wipe off his grave site some more when I noticed Kaelyn still recording followed by some happy crying and as I turned around I see the man of my dreams on one knee with tear filled eyes glaring up at me. My initial thought and blurt out was, "What are you doing?". His words.."I Love you, I know your dad couldn't be here, I wish he could be. So, I figured the best thing to do, would be to ask you to marry me in front of your father. Will You Marry Me?" In Shock but in awe of this man that kneels before me to think of such a way to ask me to marry him.. OF COURSE.. YESSSSSS.....
