We were acquaintances while working at Huntington after being introduced through a mutual friend. Andrew joined the gym in the office building and I noticed him using the stationary bike a lot. I approached him one day while at the gym and tried to convince him to join me in the spin classes the gym offered. After that, we would often be partners in group fitness classes. Now about three years later, we have decided to be partners in life and we cannot wait!
The proposal happened a Sunday morning and I had told Krystle we were meeting my parents to walk around Park of Roses here in Columbus. When we arrived at the Park of Roses I told Krystle my parents were going to be late and we should just walk around the park in the mean time. I decided to ditch the box and I put the ring in my pocket in order to hide the pending proposal. We walked around the park until we came upon a gazebo and knew I had found the perfect spot. I got down on one knee and told her she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I was so nervous I put the ring on the wrong hand but it made for a funny moment we'll always remember.
