We did it!! Well, half of it — and we’d love to have you there for PART 2: THE RECEPTION!

While making the decision to get married without our friends and family was probably one of the hardest decisions they’ve ever had to make, it ended up working out to be the most amazing weekend they’ve ever had! And that even compares to their dream-like vacation to Vienna! The wonderful weekend of The Fisher Wedding Part 1 was filled with laughing, walking, eating, and just being present with some of their closest family members, including friends who were in the wedding with them. They got to share the day from photos with their wonderful photographer and a First Look in Bar Harbor in front of sail boats on the lush green to walking out on the rocks of Seawall on the 80 degree, windy day. The ceremony on those rocks took place about a half mile from where Krystina’s grandparents lived when she was growing up, and it was truly perfection. The weather was gorgeous, she’d never felt more beautiful in her entire life, and they got to share their promises to each other and share their dreams for the future. Seth got to climb with his best man, share time golfing with his in-laws-to-be, and together they soaked in the most memorable day where Seth’s mom, Lisa, married the happy couple. Once upon a time there was this girl who was energetic, chatty, and hella passionate about everything that made her smile, when along came a handsome, quiet, rugged young guy who loved ice climbing almost as much as he loved key lime pie. (Or maybe it was the other way around.) Both hailing from Eastern PA, they wouldn’t meet until their late twenties at a dinner party in Maine where the spark first began — the spark that this girl is convinced drew her to Maine all along. Talk to both of them about that night and you’ll hear conflicting stories about what she wore that night and whether or not she invited him to come out to brunch with the girls the next day, but either way, they both knew there was a little something special; a simple crush. A crush that led to an hour long phone call, which led to a first date where he greeted her with cheesecake (a favorite he learned on said phone call), which led to a secret shopping adventure she’d already had booked at the restaurant Margaritas. On this adventure he opened her eyes to the world of hating cilantro (gasp - no!) and loving a hobby called - what is it? Ice climbing? Where she remembers asking, “Is that a real thing?” Oh, is it! Little did she know she’d be trying it herself a few years later... even though — spoiler alert — she ends up hating it. But man, does she love him. (And four years in — you better believe she’s managed to sneak in some cilantro to dinner every now and then, and he loves it!) And so that night that began with cheesecake and ended in a wonderful first kiss was their last first date. And last first kiss!
