Family and Friends, We are monitoring the COVID19 situation closely. Our May 15th, 2021 wedding is going forward as planned. As of 5/7/21, restrictions have been loosened! Guests will no longer have to provide negative test results (regardless of vaccination status) and guest limits are up to 150. Masks will still be required. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
I was working for the Navy Marine Mammal Program and Kevin was in the Navy stationed at Kings Bay, GA. Through a series of events and some mutual friends, we ended up at the same party. I thought he was the most handsome guy in the room and he hated the fact that I didn't like country music. We did find out we have a mutual love of dogs, and even tried to steal our friends' puppy (don't worry, no animals were harmed in the making of this love story) and the rest is history!
We were in Nashville, TN for the fourth of July weekend with some friends of ours. Kevin and Crystal had been planning the proposal for weeks. We had gotten breakfast at Biscuit Love, and Crystal played it off like she wanted to take some photos in front of the skyline overview at Love Circle. Kevin conveniently wanted to see Big and Rich's house on the way up to the lookout since it was in the same neighborhood. I should have known something was up when Kevin just cruised by the house and parked in a tow away zone (something he'd neverrr do). As we're walking up the stairs, I thought to myself, this would be a great place to propose. Low and behold we took some pictures, and I went to walk away to make sure they were good photos of me (naturally), and that's when Kevin grabbed my waist and dropped down on one knee. My initial reaction was "WAIT, what are you doing?!??, but once I realized what was happening, I said yes, and we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together!
