Are Kids invited?

Answer

As y’all know, Dan and Krystin LOVE kids but we would like to keep this event to children 12 and up. Please reach out to the bride/groom for individualized invites, if you have children.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What’s the dress code? What about the weather?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Semi-formal or dressy casual. -Keep in mind we will be getting married on a farm, meaning everything is either grass or gravel. The ceremony and the reception will be in the same area and everything will be outside. We also are getting married in the South, so it is likely to be quite hot and humid!

Where do I park?

Answer

There will be signs posted for parking. Please follow the signs and a shuttle will take you over to the ceremony area! There will also be a shuttle to the reception area for those who may need it but it is also in walking distance from the ceremony!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception area where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ahlstrandbyyou so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
