Back in 2018, the universe decided to play matchmaker at UNSW, where Krystie and Ben collided in a gloriously random encounter courtesy of their meddling best friends. Sparks flew, and by December 23rd they were officially an item, kicking things off with a swanky first date at Indigo in Double Bay. The day before, Ben pulled a classic rom-com move during a Manly beach stroll, "accidentally" leaving his keys with Krystie to ensure a second meet-up. (Smooth, Ben.) Oh, and they casually sauntered past the Manly Pavilion, the exact spot where they’ll soon say "I do." Coincidence? We think not. Fast forward to 2022, they made things even more official by buying an apartment in Artarmon because nothing says commitment like joint mortgage payments. In 2023, they upped the ante by adopting Bonnie, their ridiculously adorable dog who’s basically the furry boss of the household. By 2024, Ben popped the question in Italy (because why not make it extra romantic?) and now, in 2025, they’re counting down to the big day, ready to make it official at the very place where fate first winked at them.
